Step 1: Log in to your Tesla Account.

Step 2: Select the energy product installed on the property you are changing ownership of and click the ‘Manage’ option on the bottom right of your solar product.

Step 3: Click on ‘Transfer System Ownership’ under the ‘Transferring Your System’ section.

Step 4: Select the documentation you are requesting. For a temporaryUCC-1 release, they charge a document processing fee of $150

Step 5: Follow the prompts, fill out all fields and drop-down selections. Seller will need buyer and escrow name and contact information.

Step 6: Review and consent to all acknowledgments.

Step 7: Pay any required fees or outstanding balance associated.

Step 8: Submit your request.
